Looking for a place to volunteer?

San Felipe de Austin – Get Involved 

We are looking for people willing to assist us in the very important job of preserving the history and heritage of San Felipe de Austin. We hope that you will consider becoming a volunteer and your experience will bring you the satisfaction and joy of knowing you made a difference. We welcome you to our team!

Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Educational Programming – Assists with planning and implementing history-related programs for youth and adults. 
  • Living Historians – We welcome living historians who would like to volunteer at our annual Father of Texas Celebration in November. 
  • Special Events – Assists with preparations for and activities at special events. This may include preparing announcements, greeting visitors, and a variety of other fun activities. 
  • Tour Guide – Greets visitors and gives tours of the historic site. Assistant Tour Guide – Assists the tour guide with large group tours, such as school groups, when more than one person is needed.
