2024 ANNUAL COMMUNICATION

The Annual Communication for the Grand Lodge of Texas is scheduled for January 18-20, 2024. Registration opened November 1st, 2023, and members can register through their member portal. If you encounter difficulties registering, please call the Grand Secretary’s Office.

LAWBOOK AND GRAND LODGE PROCEEDINGS

The top five elected officers now have access to the 2023 Grand Lodge Law Book. You can access the book by logging into the member portal and clicking on the resources tab.

Proceedings of the MW Grand Lodge of Texas from 2019 – 2021 can also be found in the Resources tab and are accessible by all members. Previous year’s proceedings can be accessed through TX Mason App.

WIDOWS & ORPHANS COMMITTEE

The Grand Lodge Committee on Widows and Orphans is requesting that all members of Texas Freemasonry get registered, and then update your spousal, and other family information on your Grand Lodge website, via Grandview, member portal. This is an important tool to assist Grand Lodge in identifying 'widows and potential orphans' within our family in Masonry.

ONLINE SHOP

The new Grand Lodge of Texas shop is open and ready for orders. You will find all the 2023 Grand Master items available for immediate purchase. You will also find select items from previous years available at a significant discount.   GLOTx Shop

TEXAS FREEMASON MAGAZINE

You can find the most recent edition of the magazine by clicking here.  The Texas Freemason Magazine is published four times a year and is available in PDF format on the Grand Lodge website under the “MEDIA/MAGAZINE” tab.

In addition to the digital format, The Winter and Spring issues are printed and mailed before and following the Grand Annual Communication. If you are not receiving the magazine in the mail, it is likely your address is not correct in the Grand Lodge database. You can correct this by visiting the Grand Lodge website and logging into the member portal where you can edit your profile as needed.

The Membership Portal also provides access to other valuable information related to upcoming events, Masonic Education, and Grand Lodge communications.

TEXAS MASONIC RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

The No Mason Left Behind Project provides a safe place for older Texas masons in need.“When I brought my dad to meet with the folks at Texas Masonic Retirement Community, he was 80-years-old with heart problems, diabetes, and struggled to pay the rent on his apartment,” said Tony, a life-long Mason and Shiner.

As I listened to how TMRC could provide a comfortable home for him through the No Mason Left Behind Project, I thought, “This is why I became a Mason. This is what it means to be a brother and part of the Masonic family.”  His father adds, “I’m overwhelmed with all they offer me here. I have my own apartment. I don’t have to worry about my electric bill, groceries, or rent. It’s 100% better for me.”

Your donation to the No Mason Left Behind Project helps provide safe, comfortable living arrangements for older Texas Masons in need and their qualified loved ones. We honor your contribution with plaques, desktop awards, Honor Roll listings, and more based on your level of giving. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donate or learn more at YourTMRC.org/donate.
